Album Review: Youth Avoiders - Relentless (Destructure Records)

Artist: Youth Avoiders Title: Relentless Label: Destructure / Build Me A Bomb

Release Date: 30th March 2018

Normally when bands produce such a great first album they are often met with the curse of the difficult second album, Obviously Parisian punks 'Youth Avoiders' didn't suffer that struggle or if they did then it took them 5 years to overcome it.

Recorded in just five days by Nicolas Bazire at Swan Sound Studios in the Normandy countryside 'Relentless' is the long awaited second album and picks up exactly where they left off! Eleven tracks (most being around the 2 minute mark) of fast, frantic 80' style hardcore is what you get from start to finish.

The album is jam packed full of shouty vocals, catchy riffs, great melodies and punchy drums which capture the bands energy really well within the recording. If you have never heard Youth Avoiders before be prepared for them to be your new favourite band!

Available on both Black and Limited Clear Vinyl from Destructure Records
