Artist: The Last Gang Title: Keep Them Counting Label: Fat Wreck Release Date: 2nd March 2018 Released by the mighty Fat Wreck Chords this March ‘Keep Them Counting’ is Female fronted The Last Gang’s debut record. Hailing from Orange County, USA, The Last Gang infuse catchy melodies and bouncing beats with an undeniably feminine dose of old school punk rock. Front woman Brenna Red undoubtedly owes much to the school of Brody Dalle and Courtney Love, (with certain moments even sounding like they could be a second rate The Distillers or a more punk version of Hole). Although not being the most inventive record out there, ‘keep Them Counting’ is certainly a polished piece of infectious sing-a-Long punk rock and is definitely worth a listen.
